Results of DarwinIA in September 2024

Here are the results of the September 2024 edition of our seed capital allocation programme, DarwinIA SILVER and GOLD. We'll analyze the top ten DARWINs that stood out in both levels, as well as some interesting metrics about the edition.

As is our monthly tradition, let's delve into the unique insights regarding the performance of our trading community! Join us as we uncover everything related to our participants, including their returns, drawdowns, allocated seed capital, and much more:

DarwinIA SILVER 

DarwinIA SILVER is the first level of our programme, designed for traders who are beginning to build their track records. Seed capital allocations in this tier are maintained for three consecutive months and are based on the trader’s ability to generate returns over six-month periods.

7,626 traders participated in the September 2024 edition of DarwinIA SILVER, resulting in a remarkable total seed capital allocation of €41,115,000!

This pool of seed capital allocation was split among our top-performing 1,150 DARWINs, with 244 traders receiving allocation in their first month of participating in DarwinIA SILVER.

Spain, Italy and the UK were the three top countries with the most participants out of a total of 91 countries that were represented during the whole edition.

In the table below, you can see the top 10 DARWINs and their final ranking in SILVER along with their month’s return, 6 months’ return, 6 months’ drawdown, allocation received, historical seed capital accumulated, and beginning date of their track record:

Out of these top 10, the following DARWINs deserve special mention:

• EWNW as the winner with a rating of 98.63
• EWNW as the best debutant
• EWNW with the best return (19.99%)
• KNYT with the best streak (9 consecutive allocations since January 2024)
  

As previously seen, the highest recipient return during the month was for the DARWIN EWNW with 19.99% in September. On the contrary, DARWIN PVKS got the lowest return with -3.58%, but still received an allocation of €30,000. The median return in September, among all recipients was 3.06%.

Regarding the participant's return during the last 6 months, the median was 9.67%. The DARWIN HAKR got the highest 6M  return with 40.81%, and the DARWIN HOIM presented the lowest with a 6M return of 4.05%. However, HOIM still received an allocation of €30,000 because it reached the minimum rating of 75.

In relation to the last 6 months' recipient drawdown, the median among participants was -5.54%. DARWIN TWGL got the highest 6M drawdown with a -26.71% (still getting an allocation of €30,000). On the contrary, DARWIN BOWA got the lowest drawdown with a -0.34%.

DarwinIA GOLD

DarwinIA GOLD is the second level of our programme where the top traders of the platform need to outperform the market month after month. To progress to this level, you’ll need to accrue a minimum track record of 8 months and achieve mid-term returns consistently. 

Seed capital allocations in this tier are maintained for six consecutive months and only depend on the trader's current month’s return.

In the September edition, 175 traders participated in DarwinIA GOLD and a total of €5,780,000 in seed capital was allocated. Out of the total participants, 62 DARWINs received an allocation. 

Spain, the UK and Italy were the three top countries with the most participants out of a total of 38 countries that were represented during the whole edition.

In the following table, you can see the top 10 DARWINs in the final ranking of GOLD in September and their month’s return, seed capital allocation received, historical seed capital accumulated, and beginning date of their track record:

Among the top 10 DARWINs, the following ones deserve a special mention: 

• EPG as the winner with a return of 13.57%
• VVNP as the best debutant (ranked in fourth place in its first participation in GOLD) 
• SUG with the biggest current allocation
• PFD with the best streak (6 consecutive allocations since April 2024)
  

As we can see, the DARWIN EPG accomplished the highest month’s return with 13.57% in September2024. On the contrary, DARWIN JGUU got the lowest with a 1.12% return, but still got an allocation of €50,000. The median return among all recipients was 2.08%.
