Results of DarwinIA in April 2025

Here are the results of the April 2025 edition of our seed capital allocation programme, DarwinIA SILVER and GOLD. In this review, we will highlight the top ten DARWINs from both tiers and discuss some noteworthy statistics from this month's competition.

Continuing our monthly tradition, let's dive into the standout performances within our trading community. We'll explore key metrics such as returns, drawdowns, and seed capital allocations among our participants, providing a comprehensive overview of this month's trading dynamics.

DarwinIA SILVER 

DarwinIA SILVER is the first level of our programme, designed for traders who are beginning to build their track records. Seed capital allocations in this tier are maintained for three consecutive months and are based on the trader’s ability to generate returns over six-month periods.

Throughout the month of April 8,176 traders participated, hailing from 91 different countries with the top three represented nations being Spain, Italy and the UK.

A substantial total of €47,055,000 in seed capital was allocated across 1,348 DARWINs. Notably, 235 traders were awarded an allocation for the first time, marking their initial month of participation in the DarwinIA SILVER programme.

In the table below, you can see the top 10 DARWINs and their final ranking in SILVER along with their month’s return, 6 months’ return, 6 months’ drawdown, allocation received, historical seed capital accumulated, and beginning date of their track record:

Out of these top 10, the following DARWINs deserve special mention:

• XKA as the winner with a rating of 98.56
• YTQI as the best debutant
• WHSO with the best return (29.22%)
• HFPP with the best streak (13 consecutive allocations)
  

In April 2025, the highest recipient return was a stellar 29.22% by DARWIN WHSO, while the lowest return was -2.62% by DARWIN KYBD, who still secured a €30,000 allocation despite the loss. The median monthly return among all recipients was 3.85%.

Over the preceding six months, DARWIN LUZF led with the highest return of 47.55%, and DARWIN WBTL marked the lowest at 4.18%, yet he received a €30,000 allocation. The median return for this period was 9.94%.

Regarding drawdowns, DARWIN BLVG experienced the most significant drawdown at -21.16% but still maintained an allocation of €30,000, showcasing the resilience required to manage significant volatility. The lowest drawdown was observed in DARWIN COEN at just -0.66%, illustrating a conservative trading strategy. The median six-month drawdown across participants was -5.58%.

DarwinIA GOLD

DarwinIA GOLD is the second level of our programme where the top traders of the platform need to outperform the market month after month. To progress to this level, you’ll need to accrue a minimum track record of 8 months and achieve mid-term returns consistently. 

Seed capital allocations in this tier are maintained for six consecutive months and only depend on the trader's current month’s return.

In April, DarwinIA GOLD saw participation from 245 traders, with a total of €7,080,000 in seed capital allocated to 88 DARWINs.

Spain, the UK, and USA topped the list of participant nationalities, contributing to a diverse group from 49 countries.

Below, you'll find a rundown of the top 10 DARWINs in March GOLD classification, detailing each one's monthly performance, the seed capital they received, their total historical seed capital, and the start date of their trading track record.

Among the top 10 DARWINs, the following ones deserve a special mention: 

• XGQ as the winner with a return of 14.46%
• CGUT as the best debutant (ranked first in its first participation in GOLD) 
• DAE with the biggest current allocation of €895K
• OWFQ with the best streak (5 consecutive allocations)
  
  

In April 2025, DARWIN XGQ achieved the highest monthly return at 14.46%. In contrast, DARWIN JTBB registered the lowest return of 1.33%, yet still secured a €50,000 allocation. Across all recipients, the median return was 3.08%.
