New Pricing, less Barriers!

In an attempt to reduce friction in the registration process, we have listened to our user feedback over the past few months and have decided to make significant improvements to our fee structure.

The decision to change D-Zero’s fee structure stems from the need to remove a potential barrier to enter. With the initial cost of €95, many potential users felt discouraged from trying a new and different product, so it was time for a change.

Please read on to find out more about our new pricing model and its implications for new and existing customers:

    1. Removal of the sign-up fee

We removed the €95 sign-up fee for all the accounts. This means, we will instead charge €38* every month (for CFDs and Stocks & ETFs account) including at sign-up. This modification is aimed primarily at making the product more accessible to new users.

Note: existing customers who are currently undergoing the calibration process will NOT be charged the monthly subscription until their second participation in DarwinIA (as before), whereas new customers will be charged the monthly subscription every 30 days regardless of whether they have completed the calibration or not.

*Futures accounts incur an extra cost of €5/month for market data fees.

    2. Reduction in restart fee

With the new pricing model, the restart fee lowers from €65 to €38. Thus, creating a new account or restarting an existing one will have the same cost and the billing period will follow the same logic as a new registration. A uniform restart cost of €38* simplifies the process and facilitates financial management for D-Zero users, maintaining consistency in the costs associated with the platform.

*Futures accounts incur an extra cost of €5/month for market data fees.

    3. Prolonged calibration phase

A tightening of the parameters in the calibration phase has also been implemented, requiring 5 more trading days for customers to complete it. This modification aims to gather a larger sample of data for new DARWINs so our risk engine has a deeper understanding of each strategy’s behaviour before DARWINs get listed.

Bear in mind that the history accumulated during the calibration phase is taken into account in the DARWIN.

As mentioned above: existing customers who are currently undergoing the calibration process will NOT be charged the monthly subscription until their second participation in DarwinIA (as before), whereas new customers will be charged the monthly subscription EUR every 30 days regardless of whether they have completed the calibration or not.

    4. Adjustment to the billing date

A billing date adjustment has been made for customers who pay on the 25th of each month for their participation in DarwinIA the following month. From now on, subscriptions for existing customers will be charged between the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of each month, distributing the transaction volume according to technological needs. You can check your next payment date here.

New customers who sign up after the new pricing will be charged the monthly subscription every 30 days, counting since their first payment (i.e. users signing up on the 15th of any given month will be charged €38 on the 15th of the following month, whereas users signing up on the 20th of any given month, for instance, will be charged €38 every 20th of any month, etc.).

To conclude, the price of Darwinex Zero and the modifications to its functionality are strategic steps to reduce certain barriers to entry, allowing us to improve accessibility to Darwinex Zero on a vast scale.

These changes aim not only to attract more users but also to ensure a stronger and continuous commitment to D-Zero, fostering a more robust and engaged community of traders. Additionally, the new fee structure will allow us to offer quarterly, six-month or yearly packages at a discounted rate in the near future.

We understand that these changes may give rise to questions, so we will host two Q&A sessions next Thursday (23rd May 2024) on our Discord server to address any questions that you may have. You can register for the English or Spanish session here:
