Think about it. How often have you had a clearly defined plan for the day, week or month, it's well thought out and executed, but you start taking trades outside of it, usually driven by FOMO or similar emotions.

Now, imagine if your heart surgeon had a carefully prepared plan to reduce risks and fully understand the procedure they were about to perform on you. But just before starting, they throw that plan away and decide to improvise. You’d panic, right? Trading is no different, other than sometimes you can be rewarded for this behaviour.

Remember, your trading system is designed to guide you. It's not your job to argue with it, it's your job to synergise and find a way to succeed together with your system and plan.
